This is Specialty Active Shooter Themed Class that includes Flash Bangs, Smoke Grenades, and Tannerite for our clients to create a truly unqiue live fire experience. Prerequisite: To attend you must have completed 2 of the following Classes at Liberty Firearms Academy ( Tactical Pistol Shoothouse, Tactical Pistol Operator, Vehicle Pistol Operator and Urban Pistol Operator ). Active Shooters are an unfortunate reality of today’s society. Are you prepared?
This course is designed to equip you with advanced pistol fighting techniques for handling Active Shooter situations. You will learn a range of skills that will help you effectively engage Active Shooters under various scenarios and high-stress conditions. We focus on refining your marksmanship and weapon manipulation, while also cultivating the combat mindset needed to survive and prevail in life-threatening situations—whether in your home, on your property, at church, at your workplace, or in a store.
Course Outline:
- Tactics for clearing rooms for active threats ( FLASHBANGS)
- Engaging Active Shooter w/ limited visiblity (SMOKE GRENADES)
- Room Clearing Rilfe/Pistol with active audible threats/victims
- Room Clearing Rilfe/Pistol with no stimuli but active threat
- Improvised shooting positions in parking lots and vehicles
- Shooting and Bounding from cover with partners
- Close proximity threat engagements
- Active Shooter Bomb Threat Engagement (TANNERITE)
Required Equipment:
- Magazine-fed Pistol ( No revolvers)
- AR or AK platform Rifle
- 3 rifle magazine minimum
- Rifle sling
- 3 pistol magazine minimum
- Belt mounted magazine pouch
- Belt mounted dominant side holster
- Eye protection
- Ear protection (electronic preferred)
- Sturdy belt
- Weather-appropriate clothing & footwear that allows for athletic movement.
- (Clients will be supplied with the Flashbangs & Smoke Grenades)
- Tannerite will be incorporated into the drills/scenarios
